This morning in class we read an article about a flock of penguins at the San Fransisco Zoo who had the good life fed daily, groomed and taken care of that meant that this flock was a coddled flock.  But when a zoo in Ohio closed down 6 smaller and more docile  penguins were sent to the zoo in San Fransisco.  When they arrived the 6 pengiuns did nothing but swim in circles around the Penguin Island, the keepers were confused but   when all 46 now 52 penguins started swiming they were stumped.  Those 6 penguins did something to prove that they should be followed and penguins followed.  The Penguins would swim dawn to dusk and then stumble out to bed.  They think that they think they’re migrating, I guess the’ll be pretty confused when they pass that palm tree 500 times in one day.
