This article was about how when somone gains pwer very quickly the power changes them.  For instance When Pervez Musharef claimed marshall law, he gained control really fas, but when he went for the election he put the risky members of the supreme court and replaced them with “the yes men”.  “A study Showed that when a group of three people are placed in a circle around a bowl of five cookies and when each person took one.  That left two cookies, but by agreedgment the last cookie was left in the bowl.  So that means that the Person whoo was assigned to Power always took the fourth Cookie”, (Washington Post,  With power comes a Selfish Point of View. But here is a simple connection between Frederick Douglass’ mistress and power, his mistress got power so quickly, so that it chqanged her.  He explains it as a change in power.
